In Thak! You are a dwarf miner and you have to DIG.
Landslides, Cave-ins and Explosions could happen at any
time. Others players will want to stop you, but you have to
DIG.
DIG for glory.
DIG to find Runes, to collect the biggest Loot.
DIG to become King of the Mine!
Thak! is a game to be played with 2 to 6 players, which can be played all vs all, in couples or in teams.
A game lasts about 15-30 minutes.
How does the game work?
Each player takes a Pick Card and places it in front of them. Every turn you can choose to Dig (draw) a number of cards from 0 to 3, in this way you create your own Loot.
The last card you dig represents a particular discovery or event. Show that card to everyone and apply its effect. The other cards instead, are normal finding such as gold, gems and other trifles and only serve to increase your Loot.
There are many types of cards you can dig, each one with a particular effect. It’s up to you to decide when to play it to make the most of it! You want to find the precious Runes? You want to stop other players? Or you want to dig and dig and dig? Its only your choise.
Game goes on until the Mine Deck ends. Now you have to determine a score to establish who is the most rich dwarf and so the new King of the Mine!
