Description

The king of Dungeonville has gathered all of the mightiest warriors to defeat the horrid monsters hiding in the many dungeons surrounding the town (in hindsight, this was probably not the best place to settle down). If you can help defeat the monsters, you can keep the any treasures you find and become immesurably rich. And if that’s not enough, if you help empty the dungeon, your name will be forever remembered in song. So grab your best weapons and prove your might!

The Defense of Dungeonville is a semi-cooperative game where players work together to defeat all the monsters in the dungeon, but also want to obtain the most treasure for themselves.

Each round, players will bid for the opportunity to go into the dungeon. Two players will be chosen as champions and will work together to defeat a monster. Or maybe one will backstab the other and take the glory for himself. Make sure to watch your back!

All players win the game if they defeat more than three quarters of the monsters, and the player with the most treasure wins the most!

:: Gameplay Overview ::

Players bid using the prestige of their weapons, which may be augmented by gold coins.

Top two players become champions and move on to fight the monster.

The champions simultaneously play additional weapons to defeat the monster. However, they may also run away or backstab one another.

Running away lets you get away to safety.

Backstabbing your partner gives you an opportunity to take down the monster yourself and reap all the rewards.

If at least 15 of the 20 monsters are defeated, all players win, and the player with the most jewels wins the most!
