The Laundry is based on real-life money laundering typologies and actual criminal cases. The game is designed to serve as a basic introduction to the anti-money laundering industry.
Don't be fooled by the bright colors and whimsical graphics. These techniques are used by criminals around the world to move millions of dollars of ill-gotten gains.
Overview
A game of strategy and luck for 2 to 6 players.
Plays in 10 to 20 minutes. Ages 12 and up.
Contains 70 action cards and one instruction card.
Instructions
Shuffle the cards and deal seven to each player.
Place the remaining cards in a draw pile face down.
Players take turns playing one card at a time.
The first card of the game can be in any category.
After the first card, follow the category sequence below.
Playing a card is optional on any turn.
If a player does not play a card, the player must draw a card and either play that card or end their turn.
An enforcement card can be played after any card; also, any card can be played after an enforcement card.
The first player to get rid of all cards wins the game.
The standard sequence of money laundering:
Crime --> Placement-->Layering-->Integration
Remember:
An enforcement card can be played after any other card! Similarly, the next card after an enforcement card can be any card (crime, placement, layering, integration or even another enforcement).
Now go out there and move some cash!
