The Majority Rules

The Majority Rules is set in a fictitious country were you and your opponents become the power-brokers of an epic, political battle. You strive to push your agendas, while hindering the efforts of your opponents to claim victory. Alliances are made and broken as it serve your causes. An arsenal of political actions are used to out-maneuver and out-wit your opponents, as you seek to keep your agenda in play and eventually, win the game!

Each player plays the role of a power-broker pushing for a set of secret agendas, while trying to determine the agendas of their opponent's. You may be a wealthy businessman whose money secures you politicians to do your wishes. You may be an elder statesmen, having fought many political battles in the past, and this is just one more battle for the good of the people. Finally, you may simply be a new player in office, whose true motives are not known.

Unlike other games, it is not just playing cards at the right time, that gives you victory. But also the roll of the dice, can turn a vote of three against two, into an even match. There are three sides to this struggle for supremacy: The Majority Party, The Minority Party, and the Neutral Party. Only one will claim victory over the others.
