Description
The Dwarves of Mi Otal are renowned for their fine metal crafts. The Mines of Mi Otal are rich in iron, silver, gold and even diamonds.
Hire a team of dwarves to dig deep into the Mines of Mi Otal for these precious resources and use them to create fantastic weapons, armor and jewelry. Sell your creations to earn coins and expand your mining to create even more impressive items.
You start each round with only one dwarf and must hire additional dwarves for each round. More dwarves will give you more actions, but the more you hire the more expensive it becomes. You need to balance how many actions you want to take with how much you can afford to spend.
In addition to managing your money and actions you will need to balance your timing. The first player to finish placing their dwarves in a round will go first next round. If they have the money and want to, they could hire all of the dwarves leaving the other players with only one dwarf for the round. Is it worth the cost though?
The primary action your dwarves will perform is mining. There are a variety of mines in the game that will allow you to collect the iron, silver, gold, and diamonds you need to forge items. Some of the mines start with a limited pool of random resources, so you can see what is available if you use that mine. These mines will eventually run out though. So if you see something you need, you will have to be quick. Other mines are more of a gamble. You can visit the silver mine to pull 6 random resources out of the bag and you’ll keep all of the silver, but nothing else. You could get lucky and get 4, 5, or even 6 silver. But you may get nothing at all.
Players use their collected resources to forge weapons, armor, and jewelry that they can sell to earn money. But they can also forge pick axes and mine carts to help them mine more efficiently.
