The Valiant is a flexible combat system in which players customize Heroes from a variety of Classes. Build a Hero (or several!) and square off against your opponent in turn-based, strategic combat!
The Valiant: Core Game is a player versus player game suitable for individual Heroes or teams to face off in a classic "dueling" format. (Campaign expansions will offer Co-Operative play experiences.)
Players of typical trading card games will find The Valiant very familiar, but with a few significant twists: there are no decks to draw from and no rare cards to collect. The Core Game has all of the cards there are for the 6 Hero Classes.
That means no "Rich Kid Advantage." No closets full of marginally useful cards. No waiting for the perfect draw, or sitting on a great card without the resources to play it.
The Valiant pits your skill and luck against your opponent on a level playing field. Every time.

It should be also noted that team combat is integral to The Valiant. You can certainly play one on one, but the game takes on new dimensions of strategy as you move from single combat to team battles - even with just two players! Experienced players can quite easily control two or three Heroes.
