Once Upon a Time…
In a land far to the west lies a forest unlike any other. It is dark, twisted, and full of misery. For this wood has been cursed by a vengeful Witch and her foul spells. What was once green and lush is now cruel with thorns and pricks, shadowy figures, and menacing glowing eyes. Yet deep among the thorns grows a special kind of rose, the Blood Rose, which is said to cure all ills. With your loved one plagued by an unknown sickness, you must take heart, and venture forth into this cursed wood, searching for your love’s only salvation.

Objective

Thorn and Rose is a micro memory strategy card game for 2 players.

One player takes the role of the Hero/Heroine, whose goal is to gather 5 Roses. The other player takes the role of the evil Witch whose goal is to drive the Hero out of the wood with terror and fright.

Side note: Yes, the Witch player tend to have it easier. It is an slight- asymmetrical, in which the Witch/Warlock player take on a role similar to that of a DM (Dungeon Master). So it is suggested to play at least 2 games of it, with each player taking the Witch role once.
