Trail Markers is a 1-2 player game that task you with finishing your hike before the elements stop you.
Each game you will pick one of four trails, and a set of equipment to help you along the way.
Each round you will roll the dice, pick a die from those rolled, and use its value to either move along the trail to complete your goal or assign it to your camp to gain access to abilities from your chosen equipment.
You need to be careful when picking dice, because if there are any dice of a lower value than what you choose, they become "exhausted." This gives you fewer dice to use in future rounds.
Manage your time, equipment, and dice to finish your hike in the given time, and receive the best possible score!

Playing the Game
Each game takes place over a series of rounds, each round you will follow these steps:
You will repeat these steps until you have no more active dice.
To write a number on the trail, the value must meet the requirement shown on the space.

When you write a number in a camp space, this grants you one use of the ability shown at that space. You must follow the path of the arrows at the camp, and each number must be higher than all numbers pointing to it. Placing a 6 breaks this rule, as any number may be written after a 6.

Once you run out of active dice, the round is over. Cross off the round indicator, move all dice forward one space on the recovery track, and start a new round with the dice that just came off the shaded space of the recovery track.
You lose if you do not complete the trail in the given rounds. You win immediately by completing the trail.
