A cooperative game about the fruits of the spirit.
Treasures in Heaven is a cooperative board game about the fruits of the spirit for 2 to 9 players.
It is helpful if players can read, but color coded cards make it possible for younger players to join the fun with the adults! Players work together to gather all the fruits of the spirit before the rains come and spoil the harvest.
The design for this board game, Treasures in Heaven, was concieved by Laurene Wells as part of an on-site 2 day contest for the Christian Game Developers Conference (CGDC) 2010 in Portland, Oregon. The parameters for the game contest were that it had to involve chromatic colors, and it needed to be able to be created for both a board or card game and translate to a mobile device as well. (We have not yet developed this for a mobile device but it could be done.) Each of the fruits of the spirit were correlated to edible fruits of different colors which create a rainbow of colors. Laurene won an award for this game design at CGDC, and has now released it to the public for everyone to play.
Ages 5 to 105. (Small parts not suitable for children under the age of 3 as they could pose a choking hazard.)
This game contains a premium upgrade called UV Coating that makes the printed components more durable.
This game contains laser cut components. Laser cut items will have a slight amount of soot around the edges, which can easily be wiped off; and will have a campfire smell for about a week after you open them.
