Power hungry politicians, bold and brazen criminals and the full arm of the law all come together in this back stabbing, bullet flying, card game about law and order in South Africa.

Tostsi is an intense and fast action card game designed to maximise skillful card play and straight face bluffing but with enough luck to give an even outcome. Players have to work with each other but know when to go it alone in order to get maimum points.

The game begins with each player getting an identity; either that of a Politician or Tsotsi (criminal). The objective for the politicians is to rid the city of Johannesburg of crime before all the cards run out. The criminals win if there are still crimes around when the cards are finished. Working together and using the 80 cards in the deck the politicians must try and clean up the streets. Problem is they don’t know who is a criminal and who might be sabotaging their plan.

Each game comes down to the wire, with both sides trying to play not only for their side but for themselves. Winners are those who have managed to conceal their identity, know their opponents, play their cards right and be darn lucky.
