A long abandoned typewriter of a famous author has been discovered. To your dismay, the letter keys have been removed from the typewriter, but fortunately they were found scattered throughout the nearby area.

You and your fellow players will work to reassemble the typewriter by forming words with its letter keys, but will you have shown yourself to be most worthy to claim sole ownership of this famed typewriter by the end of the game?

Set up the game by placing the typewriter in the center of the play area. Place the letter displays around the typewriter with 6 consonant keys on each black display. Place a stack of each vowel near the typewriter and give each player a word board.

Move the Meeple Token clockwise at least one and up to three letter displays. The letter displays contain the various letter keys needed to construct words.

Collect a letter from the display upon which you stop. Landing on a Vowel Display allows you to select any vowel that is currently available for selection. Selecting a vowel makes it unavailable for selection again until all other vowels have been selected.

Play the letter you collect on your word board and build words one letter at a time from left to right.

If your word is complete, decide if you want to score it. The base score for a completed word depends on the letters used and the length of the word.

Letters from that word are then placed on the typewriter. New letters placed on the typewriter earn extra points!

Once the typewriter has all of its letter keys in place, the game is over and the player with the most points wins!
