Under the Rug

Like a mixture of chess, checkers, reversi, memory, and war; it has a little of all the best games, yet it’s sure to be unlike any other game you’ve played before! Both a board game where the cards make up the board and a card game where the board provides the cards, Under the Rug is an exciting and easy game for 2 or 4 players. This box includes 2 instructional cards and 52 custom Under the Rug playing cards.

Like when playing chess, in Under the Rug the rank of one's "piece" is important and strategy is employed. Like when playing checkers, in Under the Rug moves are simple, short, and linear. Like when playing reversi, in Under the Rug one flips over "pieces." Like when playing memory, in Under the Rug you have to remember the value of hidden cards. And finally, like when playing war, in Under the Rug the higher card wins (with one exception) and there is a whole lot of chance. Think chess...where the board and pieces are cards and they get randomly replaced.
