Vikings

Play as a Viking tribe and plunder your way to fortune and glory. Vikings are a worker placement, resource controling game where you take control over islands, set up villages and raid England to reach your goal.

The game world have 12 islands that gives the players resources and vikings, but also a market island where they can trade. Players also has their own base island were they can fish, breed sheep, harvest wood, iron and stones.

The islands in the game can be raided for resources or be conquered for settlements. Players can build longhouses on their islands to gain even more resourses and build defense to make them better resist other players attacks.

But the main goal in the game is to raid England and to do this they need longboats.

Each game round the players have 3 ships and 5 Vikings they can send to islands nearby but they have to build big longboats for the long journey to England. These longboats has to be supplied with what ever can be needed to make the journey.

England has lots of gold and the player with most bags of gold will win the game...

"Vikings" is a very fun worker placement / resource collecting game with a nice tactical twist of having correct items for raiding England and controlling the right islands.

Note: On the pictures we used pirat ships but the game comes with viking longboat ships. The pictures will soon be updated with correct ships.
