Western Expanse

Western Expanse is a sandbox style game for two players. While exploring the land around Town you will have the opportunity to rustle cattle, work the mines or rob a train. Be careful because you could become an outlaw on the Wanted Poster pursued by the Sheriff! You can also take a more domestic approach and run the Bank or General Store. No matter the path you choose, defend your land from the attacks of your opponent!

Gameplay

There will be 3 rows of 5 cards, all the cards are facedown except for the Town card and the Homestead cards. In the middle of the center row will be the Town card which is central for many cards. On either end of the central row is a Homestead card which is the starting area for each player. Each player gets 3 cowboys. On your turn you can move 1 space or activate a card they are standing on. Each player moves one Cowboy each turn, laying it flat afterwards to show it has taken an action. After all the cowboys are laying flat the round is over. After 8 rounds the game is over. The first player switches back and forth each round so that each player gets 4 rounds of being the first player. Whoever has the most points after 8 rounds is the winner.
