The product being sold on this page is NOT a full game. It is a conversion pack of just 15 cards for people who already have a copy of the old edition game and want to update their copy. If you are looking to buy the full game called “What’s Your Game Plan?”, go to
What's Your Game Plan? [www.thegamecrafter.com] .
In July 2015, the game “What’s Your Game Plan?” was updated to the “Updated First Edition.” The new edition contains slightly different cards than the older first edition. If you’ve already purchased the older first edition, and you’d like to convert your outdated cards to this new edition, you are in the right place!
The “What's Your Game Plan? - CONVERSION Deck” changes 15 cards from the old edition. Specifically, all 9 of the Action cards now have definitions, and a few of their names have been altered, which provides much clarity for the players using these cards. Also, the 2 Mechanic cards “Roles” and “Meters” have had their names changed and their definitions enhanced (I noticed that players found these 2 mechanics to be a little confusing). Finally, 4 of the Lesson cards were reworded so that they are now interdisciplinary and can also apply to the business world. You can see the new cards in the slideshow on this page. Once you purchase this Conversion Deck, your old What’s Your Game Plan? deck will be **exactly the same** as the current edition being sold.
(If you already have these new cards in the slideshow, then you already have the Updated 1st Edition.)
The Conversion deck is being sold to you AT COST. I don’t make any profit from this sale (maybe a few pennies based on how this store rounds off the prices). I know there are many of you out there using my old edition game, and I really want you to have the best wording available for these cards, so that your players can have the strongest workshop experience.
If you’re not sure whether you want the new updated cards, but you’d love to have a piece of paper explaining all the new definitions, go to my website at
What's Your Game Plan? - Joe Bisz and Game-Based Learning [www.joebisz.com], where you can read about the “Conversion Deck” and download a free document with all changes. Enjoy!
