Zendo v3.0 Cards

Zendo is one of the most highly regarded games for the Looney Pyramids game system. This inductive logic game is many players' very favorite pyramid game! However, the success of any given round depends largely on the secret rule chosen by the moderator.

For decades, Zendo moderators have faced the challenge of thinking of their own secret rules and hoping they didn't choose something too easy or too difficult, with varying success.

These cards solve all of that. For almost ten years, we've been collecting and refining ideas for secret rules and packing them into a series of option-laden cards. By attaching two clips (not included) to the chosen card, the moderator can set up a secret rule without fear of forgetting which options they selected for this round. Each card also has a rating, so that the players have a sense of how difficult the challenge will be this time.

To play Zendo, you will also need: a large supply of Looney Pyramids (at least 5 trios each of 3-4 colors), black and white marking stones (20 of each), "guessing" stones of a third color (at least 20), two paper clips for marking the rule card, and the rules for Zendo, downloadable here: Zendo
