IMPORTANT: requires The Republic of Rome™ to play. The game does not use any artwork from the existing game, which means the card backs are different. However, there are enough new card backs that it is impossible to thereby tell exactly which card a player draws or holds.
Other uses
If you happen to own The Republic of Carthage you can use this to play Rome in parallel with the Carthaginian Early Republic in the Grand Scenario that pits the two empires against one another.
