The Major suit of the Tarot of Sister Who- now in standard tarot card size
The original, full-size (3.5"x5.5") Tarot of Sister Who (TSW) is available here, and contains 78 cards as 4 minor suits of 14, plus the Major suit of 22 cards.
However, some readers really prefer using standard tarot size (2.75"x4.75") cards.
Sister Who's version of the Major suit is composed of 22 archetypes of life’s states or progressions. They present a more earthly understanding of one’s life than the traditional Major Arcana ‘quest for enlightenment’ – while touching on many philosophical questions or concerns.
The 4 Minor suits of TSW contain Confessor, Celebrant, Angel, and Saint cards in place of the traditional Court Cards of Page, Knight, Queen and King.
This deck includes those cards with the Majors as a set of 38 cards. They may be used on their own, or with an existing tarot deck- as replacements or to create an expanded deck for your readings.
The Confessor is that voice that listens and cares without making demands while the Celebrant is that voice that leads actions of deep experience. The Angel is that voice which directs protecting love and the Saint is that voice which lives in harmony with spiritual beings.
The deck uses the four minor suits of Candles, Chalices, Thuribles, and Paraments. The suit of Candles draws upon symbolism of fire, of spirit, of wands, and of summer. The Chalices draw upon symbolism of water, of emotion, of cups, and of autumn. The suit of Thuribles draws upon symbolism of air, of intellect, of swords, and of spring. The Paraments draw upon the symbolism of earth, of physical forms, of pentacles, and of winter.
“May you–the one directly using the cards–be blessed with spiritual and personal growth that is individually appropriate to you.”
