Parts Ship Faster, New Game Pieces, Crafter Con Videos

We added a bunch of new game pieces to our shop in February and made a big improvement to how parts-only orders are processed. We also released more videos from Crafter Con. Finally, we received some top secret new production equipment! More info to come in the weeks ahead.

Parts-Only Orders Now Ship Faster

These days, we get a lot of orders for game pieces and parts. We understand that it can be frustrating to wait in our production queue when all you want is a few game pieces. So, we’ve built a brand new Parts-Only Order Queue to remedy that!

Your Parts-Only orders will now be processed and shipped out much quicker in their own dedicated queue. You’ll see a new “Parts-Only Queue” on our status page and your place in the queue will be displayed on the receipt page just like before.

If you are in a major time crunch and need your order to arrive ASAP, then you can still pay extra and upgrade your order to expedited production and expedited shipping. Expedited Production orders are still given highest priority and ship the fastest.

We think this will be a great improvement and we’re thankful to you, the community, for continuing to give us feedback on how we can make our service better. :)

New Game Pieces Available

We added a variety of new game pieces, parts, and miniatures to our shop this month. We now have over 1,080 different board game pieces in our online parts shop. You can add these parts to your games or you can purchase them separately in any quantity. Discounts for bulk orders are automatically applied at checkout. Here's what we added this month:

Community Updates

Hidden Movement Challenge (TGC Contest) All Us Geeks is celebrating 5 years of reviewing games and they decided to be judges for this contest. This challenge is currently in the semi-finals.

Hook Box Challenge (TGC Contest) The finalists have been selected for this contest. Congratulations to Herding Cats (with Goblins), Cards of Olympus, FlipJacks, Noir, and Downhill Daredevils.

Protospiel Cleveland 2018 If you are a game designer you should always try and attend Protospiel events. It's the best place to playtest your games and get honest feedback about your game from other game designers. Escape Room Challenge (TGC Contest) Design a game that simulates the ever popular escape room puzzles. Dan Letzring from Letiman Games will be judging the contest. (Deadline: April 3, 2018)

Game Pieces Only Challenge (TGC Contest) Design a game that only consists of bits available through The Game Crafter parts store. This means the only printables would be a rulebook and a box; no cards, mats, tiles, stickers, or boards are to be used. Use of paper and pencil is strongly discouraged. (Deadline: April 20, 2018)
