Welcome to the official Game Crafter newsletter. Each month we'll bring you insights into the most important things happening in and around The Game Crafter community. With a community of 70,000 game designers, there is a lot to talk about. We'll tell you about new features and new products; and share the lessons learned from the community at large.
For example, this year we've already announced two conventions being run by The Game Crafter. First up is Crafter Con, which is an educational convention on how to be a better game designer and how to get your games published. Second is Protospiel Madison which is the absolute best place to get your game tested and get feedback on your game. In addition, we've launched our very own podcast which delves deep into the topics that matter most to game designers using The Game Crafter.
Next week, starting March 9th, we're running a crowd sale for an amazing little dungeon battle game called Hex Survival. You can get $5 off to start, and over $10 off if enough people buy the game as part of the sale. Crowd sales are a new feature at The Game Crafter. Chits!
Did you know we now make chits? They come in five different varieties so far and are thick like a Settlers of Catan tile. We released them late last year and have been working diligently to improve quality and decrease drift. We've made some huge improvements in the past two weeks, and have a few more big announcements regarding chits in the coming weeks.
